Privacy Policy

To get a real-world task done, other people need to know some things about it: where to go, what to get, how to reach you. This page says what we collect, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.
What we collect
From you
- Your account: email address, name and phone number. You can start as a guest without an email.
- Your tasks: what you ask for, your messages with us, photos you send, and the addresses involved, including any you save, such as Home.
- Payment: your card is collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We keep a Stripe customer reference and a record of each charge and refund, never your card number.
- Your answers: approvals, confirmations, and anything you tell us at the end of a task, including problems you report.
Created while your task runs
- The plan, the price, and a record of each decision made on your task.
- Photos and receipts taken by the person doing the work, to show it was done and what it cost.
- That person's live location while they are on your task, so you can follow them. It is deleted when their part ends; we do not keep a history of it.
- Your device's push notification token, so we can tell you when something happens.
From people who do the work for P0
Name, contact details, availability, the equipment they say they have, their location when they sign up and while they hold work, and the photos and receipts they submit. Payout and identity details, where needed, are collected by Stripe.
How we use it
- To plan, price and carry out your tasks, and to find the right person for each step.
- To charge you, refund you and pay the people who do the work.
- To keep you informed, by message and push notification, and to help when something goes wrong.
- To make planning and pricing better over time. We review past tasks, what was asked, what was planned and how it went, to improve the next one.
- To keep the service safe and to meet legal and tax obligations.
AI
Your requests and messages are read by AI models made by Anthropic (Claude), which we use to understand what you need, plan it, price it and reply to you. Anthropic processes this for us under its commercial terms. A person at P0 can also read your task and messages when it needs attention.
Who we share it with
To get your task done
- The person doing the work sees what their part needs: where to go, what to do, your instructions, and the photos you choose to share. Sensitive details such as door codes and ID numbers are hidden from them once their part is finished.
- Companies we book for you, such as a ride or a restaurant order. With your permission, they get your name and phone number so they can reach you.

Each of them handles your information only to provide its service to us.
Otherwise
- If you connect P0 to another AI app, such as ChatGPT or Claude, that app sees what you ask it to send or read.
- If the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
- If P0 is sold or reorganized, to the new owner, under this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and task records while you have an account, and afterwards for as long as we need them for refunds, disputes, taxes and our legal obligations. A live location is deleted when the work it was for ends.
For counsel: a specific retention period to be set.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing privacy@booksidequest.com from the address on your account. We will confirm it is you before acting.
- Deleting your account removes your profile and saved addresses. Records we must keep, such as charges and refunds, are kept for as long as the law requires.
- You can turn off push notifications in your device settings.
- California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children
P0 is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people and services that need it, and card details stay with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top.
